Kittens grow rapidly, gaining about a pound a month in their first 6 months. They continue to grow more slowly after that, reaching adult size between one and two years of age. Good nutrition is very important for a growing kitten! Choose a high quality kitten diet for your kitten. Both canned and dry foods are appropriate. Establish consistent meal times. Kittens should be offered food at least four times a day.
